My most recent piece is “Fall- 360 degrees”, a triptych using 3 ½ inch stretcher boxes to draw fluid washes forward from the wall, across the front of the canvas and back into the wall, where the flow continues unseen, through to the second canvas where the colors continue to play out in a reverse window experience.  A small flat canvas placed on the wall between them enhances the windows.  The small painting becomes a mirror reflecting what is behind the viewer, with related colors and landscape impulses in dynamic relationship to the two windows.  The mirror enlists the flatness of the wall to amplify the window experience of the three dimensional canvases, and to eloquently evoke what is not there.  The mind makes up what is missing, placing the audience in a 360-degree environment.
